Meredith and I have the best job in the
world. Even though we work constantly, it feels like we never work.
I suppose it's because work consists of being creative, witnessing people
being in love, and building relationships with our clients.
I've been photographing as long as I can remember. My dad gave me my
first camera and also my first job at the photo lab he owned. As
soon as I graduated high school I started photographing portraits and
weddings and haven't stopped. That doesn't mean I didn't do anything
else, though. I worked my way through college and earned a
Bachelor's degree in Mass Communcation (with an emphasis in
photojournalism). I've also worked as a staff photographer for 4
newspapers, earned my Master's degree in education, and have taught high
schoool journalism, publications, and English for 5 years. Because I
love teaching so much, I still find time, though being full-time
photographer and business owner, to teach photography classes at the
collegiate level.
Meredith has been passionate about photography and the cultural arts all her life. With a degree in Communication, emphasizing in film studies, from the University of Arkansas she has a love for documentary film. This love transcends naturally into our style of story telling. Her love of capturing the details and moments of a love story is what we're all about!
